John F. Mueller
John F. Mueller, age 98, of Ridgeland, WI died Sunday, October 18, 2009 at Luther Midelfort Northland Hospital in Barron. He was born April 4, 1911 in Lafayette County, WI and was raised and attended school in northern Dunn County. On September 9, 1941, he was married to Evelyn Bilodeau at Chetek. John operated a milk route until he was drafted into the Army where he served for 3 years during WWII and was involved in the Battle of the Bulge. After returning home he purchased another milk route which he operated for 35 years. He later worked for Forage King and the Farmers Co-op in Ridgeland. He enjoyed working with his honey bees and making honey. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, bowling & playing cards. John was also a member of the Willard Hinzman American Legion Post #511 of Ridgeland.

John was preceded in death by his parents, wife: Evelyn on July 29, 2005, brothers: Freddie & Warner Mueller & sisters: Hedwig Keller, Elsie TenEyck & Helen Bucholtz. He is survived by his son: DeWayne (Linnea) Mueller of Ridgeland, grandchildren: Daniel Mueller of Eagan, MN & Stephanie Hover of Onalaska, WI, great granddaughter: Avery McDonnell, sisters: Esther Flanagan of Spooner, Ann Lentz of Dallas & Lillie Miller of Ridgeland, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.

Funeral services will be (were) held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 22 from St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Barron with Deacons Jim Dennis & Russ Cabak officiating and interment in Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Spooner. Visitation will be (was) held from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Home in Dallas and also for the hour prior to services at the church on Thursday. Arrangements are with Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Homes, Dallas & Cameron.
