Richard E. White, age 55, of Rice Lake, WI died Monday, April 12, 2010 at Pekin, IL. He was born July 21, 1954 to Sydney & Blanche (Witchel) White at Rice Lake. He attended school at Cameron and graduated from Cameron High School in 1972. On March 27, 2007, he was married to Gloria Siewert at Las Vegas, NV. Dick worked as a carpenter for Chicago & Northwestern Railroad which is now Union Pacific for over 30 years. He started with them on August 30, 1974. His passions were hunting, fishing, wildlife and any outdoor activities. He was also an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers.
Dick was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife; Gloria White of Rice Lake, daughter: Lynnea (Brian) Forster of Menomonie, brothers: Don (Connie) White of Rockford, IL, Ken White of Denver, CO, Bob White of Rice Lake & Dave (Kathy) White of Amery, sister: Marge White of Gilman, WI, as well as many nieces, nephews, hunting & fishing friends and his railroad friends from throughout the Midwest. Dick was a compassionate person who would help anyone out when needed. He will be deeply missed.
Funeral services will be (were) held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 19 from Canton United Methodist Church with Rev. Donald Black officiating and interment in Pioneer Rest Cemetery in the Town of Sumner, rural Rice Lake. Visitation will be (was) held from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at the Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Home in Cameron and also for the hour prior to services at the church. Arrangements are with Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Homes, Cameron & Dallas.
