Larry A. Whitman, age 45, of Prairie Farm, WI died Tuesday, November 27, 2007 at Pioneer Nursing Home in Prairie Farm. He was born February 7, 1962 to LeRoy & Carol (Wirth) Whitman at Barron. He was raised in Prairie Farm and has been a resident of Pioneer Nursing Home in Prairie Farm for 29 years. Larry loved to play games, do puzzles and sing. His favorite song was “Jesus Loves Me”.
Larry was preceded in death by his grandparents, father & sister: Julie Whitman. He is survived by his mother: Carol Salsbury of Prairie Farm, brothers: Roger (Mary Ann) Whitman of Minong & Mark Whitman of Prairie Farm, sister: Sheri Wakefield of Prairie Farm, nieces & nephews: Marie Fowler, Shaun & Amber Whitman, Kelsey Wakefield, Tanner & Tori Whitman, grandnephews: Justin Fowler & Christopher Whitman, as well as many other relatives & friends.
Funeral services will be (were) held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 30 at the Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Home in Dallas with Rev. Jennifer Elmquist officiating and interment in Evergreen Cemetery in Prairie Farm. Visitation will be (was) for the hour prior to services at the funeral home. Arrangements are with Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Homes, Dallas & Cameron.
