Myrtle E. Immerfall, age 95, of Rice Lake, WI died Wednesday, April 18, 2012 at Heritage Manor in Rice Lake. She was born October 19, 1916 to Peter & Mary (King) Crotteau at Rice Lake. She attended school at the Catholic School in Rice Lake for about 6 years and later the Sumner School. She lived in the Canton/Chetek areas for most all of her life. On April 8, 1936 she was married to Ernest Immerfall at Cameron. In her earlier years, Myrtle enjoyed playing cards, reading & gardening. After losing her eyesight, she enjoyed listening to the radio and visiting with her family and friends.
Myrtle was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Ernest on October 27, 1996, sister: Marie Barger & brothers: Donald, Raymond & Fletcher Crotteau. She is survived by her sons: Allan (Lyn) Immerfall of the Philippines & Gary Immerfall of Barron, daughters: Pat (Tom) Bedell of Coon Rapids, MN & Shirlean Stehley of Cameron, grandchildren: Matthew & Pamela Immerfall, Eric Stehley, Rebecca Immerfall, Ryan Stehley, Michelle Simonet, Debbie & Aaron Immerfall, Steven & Kristin Bedell, Aimee Stehley, Kourtney & Amanda Immerfall, 13 great grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.
Private family services were held on Saturday, April 21 at the Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Home in Cameron with Rev. Ralph Marquardt officiating and interment in the Sumner Cemetery in the Town of Sumner, rural Chetek, WI. Arrangements were with Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Homes, Cameron & Dallas.
