Frank Mechalski, age 82, of Cameron, WI died Tuesday, February 5, 2008 at Pioneer Nursing Home in Prairie Farm. He was born November 7, 1925 to Stanley & Stella (Zarecki) Mechalski at Weyerhaeuser, WI. He later attended school at Cleveland, OH. He worked at the Farmers Store in Barron and also for Jerome Foods in Barron for many years.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, sister: Antonia Poznikowich & brothers: Walter & Pete Mechalski. He is survived by his brother: John Mechalski of Orland, CA, sister: Helen Szleszinski of Rockford, IL, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be (was) held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 11 from St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Cameorn with Father George Votruba officiating. Visitation will be (was) for the hour prior to services at the church. Interment in the spring will be at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Cemetery in Weyerhaeuser, WI. Arrangements are with Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Homes, Cameron & Dallas.
