James W. Candler, age 48, of Eau Claire and formerly of Cameron, WI died Sunday, September 16, 2007 at his home. He was born September 19, 1958 to Wallace & Rachel (Kolb) Candler at Rice Lake. He was raised in the Canton area and attended school at Cameron where he graduated in 1977. He later attended Chippewa Valley Technical College where he studied in the computer field and was most recently employed as a Program Analyst.
James is survived by his parents: Wallace & Rachel Candler of Cameron, brother: Tom Candler of Cameron, sisters: Linda (Dennis) Knutson of Dallas, Beverly Candler (Stefan Voelkel) of West Palm Beach, FL & Mary (Steve) Hellendrung of Tomah, nieces & nephews: Brent & Misty Erickson, Raschell Lyons, Joe, Jon & Justine Brost, Tatum & Cody Candler, Heather Manecke, Peter Brunette & Jaimee Eastman, 12 grand nieces & nephews, as well as many other relatives & friends.
Funeral services will be (were) held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, September 21 at the Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Home in Cameron and interment in Wayside Cemetery in Barron. Visitation will be (was) from 4-8 p.m. Thursday and 1 hour prior to services on Friday at the funeral home. Arrangements are with Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Homes, Cameron & Dallas.
