Jason Jean Daniels, age 31, of Eau Claire died Thursday, January 8, 2009 in the Town of Bloomer, Chippewa County, as the result of an automobile accident. He was born March 3, 1977 in Spooner, Wisconsin and later attended Chetek High School where he graduated in 1995. He went on to attend CVTC in Eau Claire, where he earned his Criminal Justice degree in 2007. On August 19, 2007, he was married to Lisa Severson in New Auburn. Jason was also now pursuing a degree in Vocational Rehabilitation at UW-Stout as well as working as a police officer for the Altoona Police Department. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and spent 2 summers volunteering with the Student Conservation Association in Kentucky and Colorado making wilderness campsites. He was also a member of the Chetek Masonic Lodge #277 F&AM. Jason was a loving husband and father and will be sadly missed.
Jason was preceded in death by his Maternal Grandparents: Eric and Roberta Lundberg. He is survived by his Wife: Lisa Daniels of Eau Claire, Sons: Jaxson and Gabriel of Eau Claire, Parents: Allen and Beverly Waterhouse of New Auburn, Sisters: Gretchen (Lance) Liddell of Shakopee, MN and Miranda (Scott) Jerdee of Eau Claire, Grandparents: Norman and Thelma Waterhouse of New Auburn and Vernon and Edith Daniels of Trego, Father and Mother in-law: Jack and Joyce Severson of Barron, Brothers-in-law: Chuck Severson of Papillion, Nebraska and Dean (Kitty) Severson of Denver, Colorado, Sister-in-law: Debbie Hogan of Eau Claire, as well as many Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be (were) held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 12, at Bethany Lutheran Church in Rice Lake with Reverend Dale Moe officiating and interment at Nora Cemetery in Rice Lake. Visitation will be (was) held from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Sunday at the Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Home in Cameron, where there will be a Masonic Memorial Service at 7:30 p.m., and also for the hour prior to services at the church on Monday. Arrangements are with Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Homes, Cameron & Dallas.
