Barbara Jean (Blair) Johnson

Barbara J. Johnson, age 87, of Rice Lake, WI passed away on Wednesday, June 26th, 2024 at Marshfield Medical Center in Rice Lake.  She was born on June 5th, 1937 to Robert & Beatrice (Nelson) Blair at Duluth, MN.  On October 20th, 1953, she married Robert Olson with whom she had 4 children.  Barb worked as a secretary/Administrative Assistant for many years in Duluth.  Upon retirement, she moved to Rice Lake with her second husband, Merlin Johnson.  She enjoyed knitting & crocheting and spent quite a bit of time making things for her children, grandchildren & great grandchildren.

Barb was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, son: William Olson, brother: Thomas Blair & sister: Colleen Chambers.  She is survived by her children: Susan (Lee) Romsos of Cameron, Jerry (Jelyn) Olson of Vale, AZ & Roger (Melisa) Olson of Cameron, daughter-in-law: Kathleen Olson of Coon Rapids, MN, 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, as well as many other relatives & friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 10th at Living Water Lutheran Church in Cameron with Rev. Ned Lenhart officiating & interment following at Pleasant Plain Cemetery in the Town of Prairie Lake.  Visitation will be held for the hour prior to services at the church.  Arrangements are with Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Homes, Cameron & Dallas.
