Bernard “Pete” Prill, age 86, of Rice Lake, WI died Thursday, September 21st, 2017 at Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield, WI. He was born August 7th, 1931 to Theodore & Agnes (Riley) Prill at Chetek, WI where he was raised and attended school. On August 12th, 1950, he was married to Lorraine Rude at Pine City, MN. He then entered the U.S. Army where he served during the Korean War. Pete was a mechanic his entire life & he enjoyed car rides, riding his “Gold Wing” & 4-wheelers & playing Dirty Clubs.
Pete and FamilyPete was preceded in death by his parents, wife: Lorraine on January 10th, 2013, son: Harley Prill, brother: Roman Prill & sisters: Hazel Moore, Pat Erickson, Sally Bucholz & Dean Froemming. He is survived by his son: Ken Prill of Rice Lake, daughters: Marlene (Ken) Dirkes of Rice Lake & Jean (Dean) Stamper of Wheeler, 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, sisters: Yvonne Bishop of Galesville, WI & Doris Burch of Barron, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.
Funeral ServiceFuneral services will be (were) held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, September 25th at the Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Home in Cameron with Rev. Karen Johnson officiating & interment following at Pine Grove also in Cameron. Visitation will be (was) held from 1-4 p.m. on Sunday & also for the hour prior to services on Monday, all at the funeral home. Arrangements are with Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Homes, Cameron & Dallas.
