Beulah L. Olson, age 91, of Dallas, WI died Thursday, May 17th, 2018 at Atrium Post Acute Care in Bloomer. She was born September 30th, 1926 to Adolph & Myrtle (Johnson) Olson in the Town of Prairie Lake where she was raised and attended school. She attended Prairie Lake Heights Country School & graduated from Barron High School in 1944. On November 18th, 1945, she was married to Wesley E. Olson at Dallas & the couple farmed for many years in the Town of Prairie Lake. Beulah moved to Dallas in 1983. She was a lifelong member of New Scandinavia Lutheran Church & active in many of the church activities. She enjoyed gardening, raising both vegetables & flowers, going on trips, attending garage sales & watching & feeding the birds.
Beulah and FamilyBeulah was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Wesley on November 9th, 1978 & son: William A. Olson. She is survived by her sons: Thomas W. (Debra) Olson of Marathon & Steven W. (Denise) Olson of Chetek, daughters: Mary C. (Garver) Brown of Chetek & Carol (Ed) Hougdahl of Turtle Lake, 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, special nephew: Duane (Judy) Olson of Cameron, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.
Funeral services will be (were) held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 21st at New Scandinavia Lutheran Church in the Town of Maple Grove, rural Dallas, with Rev. Heather Kistner officiating & interment following in the church cemetery. Visitation will be (was) held from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Sunday at the Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Home in Dallas & also for the hour prior to services at the church on Monday. Arrangements are with Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Homes, Dallas & Cameron.
