Charles "Chuck" Kinney

Charles “Chuck” Kinney, age 58, of Cameron, WI went to be with his Savior on December 29th, 2017 after a courageous fight with cancer.

Chuck was born in Fort Madison, Iowa on July 24, 1959 to Bessie June (Moore) & Charles Leonard Kinney. He grew up there and later made his home in Texas for a time before moving to Wisconsin where he met the “Love of his Life”, Roni Lynn Hanson and they were married in 2009.

Chuck was a kind, loving, gentle man. He was an over the road truck driver for 37 years. He loved the open road and through his travels he made many friends along the way.

Chuck was a huge Viking Fan that could never bring himself to embrace the Green Bay Packers. He did however root for the Badgers and for the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Top on Chuck’s list was all of his family and friends that he loved dearly. He enjoyed fishing, boating, motorcycling, music, singing, dancing and bringing joy to others. Chuck was a very social being.

Chuck is survived by his loving wife Roni and his sons: Timothy, Charles Jr. “Chuckie” (Sherri) & Allan (Monica), daughter: Stephanie (Chris House), step-daughter: Heidi Kessinger LaBrie (Jerry), 7 granddaughters, 1 grandson, three sisters, one brother & mother and father in law: Bob & Sherry Hanson. He also leaves behind his beloved pets, “Emmy Lou (dog) and CiCi (cat).

A visitation will be (was) held at the Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Home in Cameron on Thursday, January 4th from 3:30-6:30 p.m. The memorial service will held on Friday, January 5th at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with visitation one hour prior to the service. After the service Chuck will go on his last ride as Halvor Lines Trucking (former employer) is sending a semi and a his dear trucking buddies will be escorting him to his home church, Chetek United Methodist for a luncheon at 1:00 pm. The last dispatch will be to his earthly home in Cameron. Arrangements are with Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Homes, Cameron & Dallas.
