Charmaine R. Mikolon, age 76, of Chetek, WI died Thursday, December 10th, 2020 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire. She was born July 20th, 1944 to Marcel & Regina (Zdanowski) Colin in Chicago, IL where she attended St. Michael’s Catholic School & met her future husband, Paul Mikolon. They were married on June 4th, 1966 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Chicago. The couple moved to the Chetek/Cameron area in 1970 where they raised their family. Throughout the years Charmaine worked for Cotton Products & Char-Von Cottages. She enjoyed spending time with family & friends, as well as watching her grandchildren’s & great grandchildren’s sporting events. She was an avid fan of Cameron Boys Basketball & Wrestling and Chetek Hydroflites Waterski Show. She also loved to play cards, tend to her vegetable garden in the summertime & cooking for her family. Charmaine & Paul shared many memories together. Feeding the bears at Orr, MN, dancing, snowmobiling, watching the Packers & Cubs games & spending time at the cabin in Birchwood to name a few. They were members of First Lutheran Church in Rice Lake.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Paul, her four sons, Paul (Tammy), Gary (Sharon), Bob and Jimmy (Amy) Mikolon. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren: Holly (Justin) Eckhoff, Ali (Shane) Brady, Jesse, Jordan, Paul, Dustin, Dawson, Hailey, Brett & Colt Mikolon, her 6 great grandchildren who were the love of her life, Karalee and Kason Hibbard, Ezmia Eckhoff, Caleb Brion, Bennett and Josie Brady. She is further survived by 1 sister: Yvonne (Anthony) Nuccio. Dear friends, Lois Bilodeau, Lois Miller & Dr. Jon Farm, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends. Charmaine was preceded in death by her parents, grandmother Anastasia Zdanowski, granddaughter Kara Mikolon, daughter-in-law Robin Mikolon, dear friend Georgia Hanrahan and her Doctor Meyerhoffer.
Funeral Services
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 19th at the Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Home in Cameron with Rev. Robert Pittman officiating & interment following in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Cameron. Visitation will be held for the hour prior to services at the funeral home on Saturday. Arrangements are with Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Homes, Cameron & Dallas.
