Craig S. Moen

Craig S. Moen, age 58, of Prairie Farm, WI passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side on Sunday, May 5th, 2019. He was born October 20th, 1960 to Vernon & Gerene (Knutson) Moen at Rice Lake & was raised and attended school at Prairie Farm. He graduated from Prairie Farm High School in 1979. On July 24th, 1982, he was married to Geraldine Doerr at Garrison, MN. Craig started logging right out of high school which he did for 32 years, along with some construction work in the summer. In 2011, he and Geraldine opened the Buckhorn Bar in Prairie Farm. Craig enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, ATV rides, winter trips to Texas & Mexico & spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Craig was preceded in death by his mother, brother: Michael Moen & sister: Peggy Nelson. He is survived by his wife: Geraldine of Prairie Farm, sons: Steven (BreAnn) Moen & Denver (Kori) Moen, all of Prairie Farm, daughters: Crystal (Jake) Hutchison of Prairie Farm & Misty (Matt) Hoff of Barron, grandchildren: Alex, Shane & Mason Moen, Jordan, Evan & Alayna Hutchison & Karson Moen, father: Vernon Moen of Prairie Farm, brothers: Gary (Lindy) Moen of White Pine, MI, Brad (Lori) Moen of Turtle Lake, Darrin (Terri) Moen of Hillsdale & Trevor (Connie) Moen of Turtle Lake, sisters: Pam (Ken) White of Cumberland & Vicki Kallenbach of Prairie Farm, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.

Funeral Services

Funeral services will be (were) held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 10th at the First Lutheran Church of Arland with Rev. Tim Vettrus officiating & interment following in Independent Cemetery in the Town Arland. Visitation will be (was) held from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Home in Dallas & also for the hour prior to services at the church on Friday. Arrangements are with Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Homes, Dallas & Cameron.
