Cynthia Marie Olson, age 63 of Cameron, WI passed away peacefully on Friday, February 16th, 2024 at her home after battling cancer. She was born April 2nd, 1960 to Raymond & MaryAnn (Bromley) Olson at Ladysmith, WI. Cindy was an antiquing & garage sale enthusiast, always on the lookout for the perfect teapot or cookie jar. She was fiercely independent and spent time managing a full service Laundromat in Vermont. She ultimately returned to Wisconsin to spend the remainder of her life doing what she loved, caring & cooking for those she loved, whether it be making homemade food for the residents of Dove Healthcare or making her famous pineapple & pretzel salad for family events. When she wasn’t caring for others, you could find her enjoying Wheel of Fortune, crime shows, The Price is Right & I Love Lucy while snacking on M&Ms and Diet Mountain Dew.
Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, paternal & maternal grandparents. She is survived by her daughter: Angela Hraban, granddaughter: Alexis Hraban, siblings: David, Steven, Beth & Karen Olson, Julie Deyo & Debbie Olson, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends & her work friends at Dove Healthcare.
