Dale Richard Johnson

Dale Richard “Butch” Johnson, age 72, of rural Chetek, WI passed away Sunday, January 19th, 2025 at Meadowbrook of Chetek with his daughters by his side.  He was born June 8th, 1952, the son of William & Elaine (Pieper) Johnson at Rice Lake, WI.  Dale loved riding his Harley, going to car shows with his friends, fishing, hunting & woodworking.  He also enjoyed spending quality time with his family & friends.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents.  He is survived by his 2 daughters: Tianna (Johnson) Meyer & Shayla Frankenberg, brother: John (Donna) Johnson, sisters: Carol (Loren) Mikula & Sandy (Carl) Glocke.  He is further survived by Jerry (Lisa) Mancl, who Dale considered a son & their children, Evan & Morgan, nephews: Tim Ours & Bryan (Lori) Johnson, his niece & God Daughter: Tresa (Pete) Kronberger, as well as many other relatives & friends. 

At Dale’s request, no services will be held.  A private family burial will take place in the spring at Pine Grove Cemetery in Cameron.  The family would like to thank the staff at Meadowbrook for their kindness & compassion & also to the Marshfield Medical Center Home Health & Hospice of Rice Lake.  Arrangements are with Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Homes, Cameron & Dallas.
