Daniel Warren Kubista

Daniel W. Kubista, age 70, of Cameron, WI died Wednesday, March 6th, 2024 at Barron Care & Rehabilitation.  He was born March 9th, 1953 to Charles & Iva (Nelson) Kubista at Shell Lake, WI where he was raised and attended school.  On June 28th, 1975, he was married to Carol Franks at Shell Lake.  The couple built a house in Sarona on Kekegama Lake where they lived until moving to Cameron in 1994.  Daniel was an avid outdoorsman.  He enjoyed working in his tool shed, harvesting maple syrup, snowmobiling with family, tending to his yard work, camping & sitting around the campfire.

Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, wife: Carol on December 19th, 2020 & brother: Frank Kubista.  He is survived by his son: Andrew Kubista, daughter: Brenda Kubista (Jerrimiah Millard), grandchildren: Lorelei Kubista & Dustin Millard, brother: Jerry Kubista (Betty Rogers), sister: Jean Kubista, as well as many other relatives & friends.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 18th at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Cameron with Father Ed Anderson officiating.  Arrangements are with Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Homes, Cameron & Dallas.
