Darlene E. Joachim

Darlene E. Joachim, age 80, of Wheeler, WI died Wednesday, February 8th, 2017 at her home. She was born September 14th, 1936 to Edwin & Lorna (Letts) Kindschy at Alma, WI. On February 13th, 1954, she was married to Raymond Hintzman at Wheeler & the coupe farmed in the Wheeler area for many years. Raymond preceded her in death on October 25th, 1998. On October 7th, 2000, Darlene was married to Kenneth Joachim at Las Vegas, NV. She was employed with Jerome Foods in Barron for 30+ years. She loved Polka dancing & also enjoyed gardening & canning.

In addition to her first husband, Darlene was preceded in death by her parents & son: Dennis Hintzman. She is survived by her husband: Kenneth of Wheeler, daughters: Debra (Norman) Lawrence of Marshfield & Diane Hintzman (Eldon Noll) of Stratford, 4 grandchildren: Amanda (Jeremy) Sweet, Danielle Stone (Cody Seelow), Michael & William Stone, 3 great grandchildren: Madison & Jacquelynn Yost & Ella Sweet, brothers: Orville (Betty) Kindschy of Trinity, FL, Neil Kindschy of Knapp & Delbert Kindschy of Roberts, sister: Frances Hinzman of Menomonie, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.

Funeral services will be (were) held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 13th at the Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Home in Dallas with Rev. Loren Barker officiating & interment following in the Hay River Cemetery in the Town of Hay River, Dunn County, WI. Visitation will be (was) held from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home on Monday. Arrangements are with Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Homes, Dallas & Cameron.
