David Ole Romsos

David O. Romsos, age 79, of Cameron, WI died Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield, WI.  He was born June 15, 1946 to Edwin & Caroline (Lundby) Romsos at Rice Lake & was raised and attended school at Cameron.  He graduated from Cameron High School in 1960 & then went on to attend college at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls, graduating in 1964.  In 1971, he began his life-long career in farming with his brother, Lee, on their farm south of Cameron.  On September 11, 1976, he was married to Sandra Good at Barron.  Dave loved the outdoors.  He loved his hunting & fishing trips to Medora, ND & Duluth, MN, ATV rides, yard work & helping on the farm.  He also enjoyed playing games, attending his grandchildren’s activities & traveling.  His greatest joy was any time spent with his family.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents & brothers: Arden & Lee Romsos.  He is survived by his wife: Sandy, his children: Matt Romsos (Ann Bentley), Sara (Ben) Knoepke & Josh Romsos (Stephanie Swanson), grandchildren: Cole, Cali, Cora & Kash Romsos, Lily, Alison & Sam Knoepke, Zowie, Mya & Lainey Romsos, brother: Dale (Darlene) Romsos, sisters-in-law: Janet & Sue Romsos, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives & friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 24th at Living Water Lutheran Church in Cameron with Rev. Ned Lenhart & Kellie Heath officiating.  Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Friday, January 23rd at the Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Home in Cameron & also for the hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.  Interment will take place in the spring at Pleasant Plain Cemetery in the Town of Prairie Lake.  Arrangements are with Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Homes, Cameron & Dallas.
