Dorothy Florence (Lundberg) McKee

Dorothy F. McKee, age 88, formerly of Barron, WI died Friday, October 4th, 2024 at Dove Healthcare-West in Eau Claire.  She was born on December 29th, 1935 to Leonard & Edna (Anderson) Lundberg at Ashby, MN where she was raised and attended school.  On January 27th, 1955, she was married to Bernard McKee at Fargo, ND.  The couple then moved to the northern Wisconsin area.  Dorothy was employed with the Barron Hospital as a CNA for several years.  She enjoyed camping, motorcycle rides, sewing, cooking & playing games.  The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at Dove Healthcare West & Mayo Clinic Home Health and Hospice for the wonderful care they provided for Dorothy.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Bernard on December 29th, 2015, grandson: Nathan & sister: Lorraine.  She is survived by her sons: Wayne (Edith), Earl (Diane) & Robert (Angela) McKee, daughter: Cheryl (Troy) Garner, grandchildren: Melissa (Troy) Chaplin, Breck, Travis, Mitchele & Zachary McKee, Amber (Will) McKee & Angela (Jim) Krehchel, 10 great grandchildren, as well as many other relatives & friends.

A private family graveside service will take place at a later date in the Wayside Cemetery in Barron.  Arrangements are with Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Homes, Cameron & Dallas.
