Douglas M. Tarvis

Douglas M. Tarvis, age 55, of Dallas, WI died Tuesday, June 27th, 2017 at his home. He was born August 10th, 1961 to George & Maureen (Lien) Tarvis at Barron, WI. Doug was a loving father of three. He enjoyed trout fishing & coon hunting. He was an avid hunter & loved deer hunting in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest. He was an over-the-road truck driver for many years traveling mainly on the east & south coast. He later became a mechanic.

Doug was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his children: Cody (Lauren) Tarvis of Bloomer, Callie Tarvis of Eau Claire & Chad (Kami) Tarvis of Birchwood, grandchildren: Londan, Corbin, Carson, Owen & Brantly, sister: Pam Hessler, nephews: Josh, Jordan & Jacob Hessler, as well as many other relatives & friends.

A graveside service will be (was) held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 8th at the Dallas Cemetery with a Celebration of Life following at the Pavilion in the Dallas Park. Arrangements are with Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Homes, Dallas & Cameron.
