Earl J. Kallenbach, age 96, of Dallas, WI passed away on Sunday, July 29, 2018 at his home. He was born in Prairie Farm WI on February 14, 1922 to Albert and Elizabeth (Zuehlke) Kallenbach. He graduated from Barron High School. Earl married Helen Lee on April 26, 1942 & they were married for 55 years. Earl farmed until September, 1991, when he went to work for Bob Lentz for 23 years. Besides farming, he held many other positions. He hauled milk, worked at The Farmers Union, did custom work, worked at Jerome Turkeys, served on the Prairie Farm fair board & helped run the tractor pull. Earl loved to hunt, fish, & share this love with his entire family, including his great great grandson. He was also an avid Brewers and Packers fan.
Earl is survived by 2 daughters: Dawn (Dale) Knutson of Glen Allen, VA & Jocelyn (Daniel) Larson of Menomonie, WI, 4 sisters: Fern Larson of Vacaville, CA, June Miller of Barron, Charon (Larry) Lloyd of Beaver Dam, WI & Charlotte (Wes) Mohns of Sarona, WI, 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren & 1 great great grandson. Earl was preceded in death by his parents, wife: Helen on May 13, 1997, daughter: Barbara Kallenbach, son: Bruce Kallenbach & sisters: Evelyn Kallenbach & Mildred Fladten.
Funeral Services will be (were) held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 4 at Dallas Lutheran Church with Rev. Heather Kistner officiating & interment following in the Dallas Cemetery. Visitation will be (was) held from 4-7 p.m. Friday & 10-11 a.m. Saturday, both at the church. Arrangements are with Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Homes, Dallas & Cameron.
