Edward Jimmie Holmstrom

Edward J. Holmstrom, age 73, of Barron, WI died Sunday, February 11th, 2024 at his home.  He was born October 5th, 1950 to Eddie & Lena (Marshall) Holmstrom at Cumberland, WI.  After high school he served in the US Army from 1969-1971.

Ed was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Lloyd & David Holmstrom, son: Levey Swartz & grandson: Anthony Swartz.  He is survived by his life partner: Cheryl Cook, sons: Brent (Shannon), Mike (Heather) & Justin Holmstrom, daughters: Sara Holmstrom & Carri Jo Bunker (Kristy), daughter-in-law, Kim Swartz, grandchildren: Gage, Parker, Adrian, Devon, Dominic, Shelby, Lexi, Bentley, Mason, Tyler (Allee), Casondra (Brett), Keagan, Adam, Levi, Amanda & Cameron, 7 great grandchildren, sisters: Diane Tyson & Karen Holmstrom, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, March 8th at the Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Home in Cameron with Rev. Ralph Marquardt officiating.  Visitation will be held from 4-6 p.m. at the funeral home on Friday.  Interment will take place at a later date in the Wayside Cemetery at Barron.  Arrangements are with Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Homes, Cameron & Dallas.
