Ella L. Lundequam, age 95, of Ridgeland, WI died Monday, February 5th, 2018 at Dallas Care & Rehabilitation. She was born February 26th, 1922 to Hiram & Tilla (Tweed) Cutting in the Town of Grant, Dunn County, WI where she was raised and attended the Popple Creek Country School. On April 27th, 1944, she was married to Juel Lundequam at Wheeler, WI & the couple farmed the Lundequam home farm in the Town of Wilson for many years. Ella also worked for Jerome Foods in Barron for about 10 years. She was a long time member of New Hope Lutheran Church-Pine Creek where she taught Sunday School over the years, and was also an active member of the Ladie’s Aid there. She loved flower gardening & baking.
Ella and FamilyElla was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Juel on December 27th, 2010 & brothers: Warren, Eldred, Reuben, William, Francis, Sherman & Wallace Cutting. She is survived by her son: Dennis Lundequam of Ridgeland, daughter: Diane (Dale) Crotteau of Barron, grandchildren: Tami (Mike) Schoenecker & Tracy (Jamie) Schwarz, great grandchildren: Brady Schoenecker, Christopher & Jenna Schwarz, Austin Schoenecker & Makenzie Schwarz, brother: Grant (Barbara) Cutting of Chippewa Falls, sister: Ethel Nelson of Colfax, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.
Funeral ServiceFuneral services will be (were) held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 10th at New Hope Lutheran Church-Pine Creek in the Town of Wilson, rural Ridgeland, WI with Rev. Janelle Harrison officiating & interment following in the church cemetery. Visitation will be (was) held for the hour prior to services at the church on Saturday. Arrangements are with Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Homes, Dallas & Cameron.
