Gayland "Joe" Olson

Gayland “Joe” Olson, age 45, of Prairie Farm, WI died Saturday, August 17th, 2019 in the Town of Prairie Lake, WI. He was born May 14th, 1974 to Gerald “Jerry” & Carolyn (Kieffer) Olson at Cumberland, WI. He was raised and attended school at Prairie Farm where he graduated from Prairie Farm High School in 1993. He was most recently employed with the Jennie-O Turkey Store in Barron & had previously worked for Midwest Ducts in Prairie Farm. Joe was an artistic person & enjoyed drawing. He also enjoyed hunting & riding his motorcycle.

Joe was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his mother: Carolyn Olson of Prairie Farm, son: Jordan Olson of Colfax, daughter: Braylee Osgood, brothers: Jerry (Rita) Olson of Anchorage, AK & Gabriel Olson of Prairie Farm, sister: Caulette (Mark) Caracciolo of Bedford Hills, NY, nieces & nephews: Rachel, Amanda & Adrianna Olson, Sydney & Mark Caracciolo, Jr., Dakota Cornellier, Kaylie Kohnen, Jacob OIson & James Flynn, as well as many other relatives & friends.

Funeral Services

A Mass of Christian Burial will be (was) held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 27th at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Turtle Lake with Father Tom Thompson officiating & interment following in the church cemetery. Visitation will be (was) held from 4-7 p.m. Monday at the Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Home in Dallas & also for the hour prior to services at the church on Tuesday. Arrangements are with Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Homes, Dallas & Cameron.
