Grace Wiese Obituary

Grace J. Wiese, 89, of Downing, WI & formerly of Minneapolis, MN passed away peacefully Sunday, Nov. 25 at Triple Springs Country Home in Downing. She was born Nov. 17, 1929 to Fred & Agnes (Slayton) Bauch in the Town of Clinton, WI where she was raised and attended school. On Oct. 5, 1949 she was married to Russell Wiese. Shortly after their marriage the couple moved to Minneapolis where they made their home & raised their family. The family would like to extend special thanks to Mary Hellendrung of Downing for her compassionate & loving care of Grace these past 7 years.

Grace and Family

Grace was preceded in death by her parents, her husband on Dec. 21, 2007, sons: Lamont & Bradford Wiese & several siblings. She is survived by her son: Allen (Jane) Wiese, daughter: Deborah (Brian) Gorman, daughter-in-law: Betty Wiese, 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, brother: Ray Bauch & sisters: Katherine Kotulski, Mickey Olson & Sally Fritz.

Funeral Services

Services will be 12:00 noon on Wednesday, Nov. 28 at Faith Lutheran Church in Cameron with Rev. Tamra Harder officiating & interment following in the Sumner Cemetery in the Town of Sumner, rural Chetek, WI. Visitation will be for the hour prior to services at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the donor’s choice. Arrangements are with Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Homes, Cameron & Dallas.
