Harold Wayne Bearden

Harold W. Bearden, age 75, of Cameron, WI died Tuesday, November 19th, 2024.  He was born July 3rd, 1949 to George & Nervie (Jones) Bearden at Benton, AR where he was raised and attended school.  In 1971 he moved to Sand Creek, WI which led to meeting his future wife, Colleen Brooten.  They were married on September 10th, 1971 in Chetek.  Harold was a hard worker and a “Jack of all Trades”.  He was always willing to help others and loved old cars.  He enjoyed tinkering around in the garage and also collecting toy cars.  He loved an ice cold beer at the end of a long day and was overjoyed upon learning of Donald Trump’s victory and the hope for our country.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: George Jr., Charles, Roy & Larry Bearden, sisters: Margaret Thompson, Faye Saastad, Gracie Bearden & Mary Puckett & his father & mother-in-law: Eldor & Cecilia Brooten.  He is survived by his wife: Colleen, sons: Michael (Jennifer) Bearden of Belmont, WI & Patrick (Julie) Bearden of Rice Lake, ex daughter-in-law: Lan Erickson, grandchildren: Cheyann, Chandra & Chayla Bearden, brother: Jimmy Bearden, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 23rd at the Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Home in Cameron.  Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. John Bergstrom officiating.  Arrangements are with Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Homes, Cameron & Dallas.
