Harry Sunderland Obituary

Harry E. Sunderland, age 86, of Barron & formerly of Cameron, WI died Monday, October 4th, 2021 at Monroe Manor in Barron. He was born March 2nd, 1935 to Frank & Alice (Crane) Sunderland at Sioux City, IA. He was raised in the Barron County area. Harry worked in construction his entire life and travelled around the country extensively. He worked on the largest Hershey plant in California, the Pittsburgh Stadium, the Columbia Center, several Microsoft buildings in Seattle & also in Alaska, to name a few. He retired in the mid 90’s & moved back to the Cameron area. He has been a resident of Monroe Manor since 2015.

Harry and Family

Harry was preceded in death by his parents, daughter: Annette Sunderland, sisters: Marion, Mila, Betty, Joan & Jennie & brothers: Austin & Robert “Smokey”. He is survived by his sons: Tim & Rodney Sunderland, grandchildren: A.J., Jessica, Reilly & Crystal, 2 great grandchildren, brother: Richard (Veda) Sunderland, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.

Funeral Service

Funeral services will be (were) held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 9th at the Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Home in Cameron with Pastor Cori Forcey officiating & interment following at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Cameron. Visitation will be (was) held from 1:30 p.m. until the time of the service on Saturday. Arrangements are with Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Homes, Cameron & Dallas.
