Ione Rich

Ione Rich, age 94, of Barron, WI died Thursday, May 3rd, 2018 at Monroe Manor in Barron. She was born August 28th, 1923 to Oscar & Effie (Collins) Johnson at Cameron where she was raised and attended school. She graduated from Cameron High School & on September 26th, 1944, she was married to Roy Rich at Barron. Ione loved babysitting & sewing for her grandchildren, as well as cooking, baking & working beside her husband.

Ione was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Roy on February 9th, 1992, granddaughter: Elizabeth Gesler, brother: Carl Johnson & sisters: Alice Johnson, Gladys Bronstad, Elaine Schultz, Dora Whitney & Edith Kerber. She is survived by her daughter: Patricia Grant of Barron, grandson: Steven Hegna, special granddaughter-in-law: Cristin Odash, 6 great grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.

A Graveside Service will be (was) held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 11th at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Cameron. Arrangements are with Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Homes, Cameron & Dallas.
