Jeanette “Nettie” Wintrone, age 82, of rural Barron, WI died Sunday, April 26th, 2026 at her home. She was born on May 29th, 1943 to Martin & Martha (Becker) Reddig at Barron, WI where she was raised and attended school. On June 28th, 1968, she was married to Lloyd Wintrone at Pine City, MN. The couple settled in their home between Dallas & Barron. Lloyd ran a construction business & Nettie helped by maintaining the books & also helping on the job site when needed. She also ran the household raising the families own meat, vegetables & milk. She enjoyed woodworking, painting & artistry of any kind.
Nettie was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Lloyd on December 4th, 2006, 1 brother & 5 sisters. She is survived by her son: LaVern Wintrone, granddaughter: Victoria Wintrone, grandsons: Nicholas & Alexander Wintrone, brother: Sonny Reddig, sister: Bubby Christensen, as well as other relatives & friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 8th at New Scandinavia Lutheran Church in the Town of Maple Grove, rural Dallas, with Rev. Sara Feld officiating & interment following in the church cemetery. Visitation will be held for the hour prior to services at the church on Friday. Arrangements are with Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Homes, Dallas & Cameron.
