John P. Johnson, age 77, of Ladysmith, WI died Sunday, August 11th, 2019 at the Marshfield Medical Center in Ladysmith. He was born March 31st, 1942 to Carl & Gertrude (Van Camp) Johnson at Chippewa Falls, WI. On October 20th, 1990 he was married to Janice Schuyler at New Scandinavia Lutheran Church in the Town of Maple Grove, Barron County, WI.

John was preceded in death by his parents, wife: Janice on February 21st, 2018, brother: Kenneth Johnson & an infant brother & sister. He is survived by his sons: Peter Johnson of Eagleton, WI & Mark Johnson of Chippewa Falls, WI, daughter: Kristi Kyes of Cadott, WI, step-son: John Turner of Baldwin, WI, step-daughters: Judy Ebler of Chetek, WI, Jackie Robertson of Eau Claire, WI & Tracy Turner of Sonoma, CA, 21 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, as well as many other relatives & friends.

Funeral Services

Funeral services will be (were) held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 15th at New Scandinavia Lutheran Church in the Town of Maple Grove, rural Dallas, WI with Rev. Heather Kistner officiating & interment following in Otter Creek Cemetery in the Town of Otter Creek, rural Wheeler, WI. Visitation will be (was) held for the hour prior to services at the church on Thursday. Arrangements are with Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Homes, Dallas & Cameron, WI.
