John C. Leaman, age 70, of Ridgeland, WI died Thursday, November 16th, 2017. He was born April 29th, 1947 to Carleton & Julia (Kieffer) Leaman at Minneapolis, MN. He was raised and attended school during his early years at Maple Plain, MN. The family moved to Prairie Farm when John was a sophomore & he graduated from Prairie Farm High School in 1965. On April 19th, 1969, he was married to Kaye Kimberly at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Barron. John attended and later taught at the Eau Claire Vocational College. He also attended 2 years at UW-Stout. He worked for National Presto in Eau Claire for a couple of years and has operated his farm in Ridgeland since 1972. John enjoyed attended his grandkid’s various events, visiting the Casinos, watching the Game Show Network & spending time at their lake home.

John was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife: Kaye of Ridgeland, son: Michael (Kristin) Leaman of Mequon, WI, daughters: Kimberly (Dean) Frandsen of Barron & Christina (Scott) Manwarren of Rosemount, MN, grandchildren: Lola & Stella Leaman, Isaiah, Carter & Sydney Frandsen, Luke, Mark & Zach Manwarren, brothers: Dennis (Pam) Leaman of Alamo, TX & Robert
(Virginia) Leaman of Bailey, CO, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.
Funeral Service
A Mass of Christian Burial will be (was) held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 21st at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Barron with the Revs. Bala Raju Policetty & Gerard Wilger officiating. Visitation will be (was) held from 4-8 p.m. on Monday at the Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Home in Dallas & also for the hour prior to services at the church on Tuesday. Interment will be at a later date in Greenwood Cemetery in the Town of Dallas, rural Ridgeland, WI. Arrangements are with Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Homes, Dallas & Cameron.
