Larry William Holmen

Larry W. Holmen, age 86, of Amery, WI died Friday, October 6th, 2023 at Golden Age Manor in Amery.  He was born January 1st, 1937 to Arthur & Ragna (Romsos) Holmen at Rice Lake.  Larry was nicknamed “Rock” in his youth and he definitely lived up to the name.  His smiling zest for life was unsurpassed.  Never having met a stranger, he was always ready to offer advice, requested or not!  His playful happy-go-lucky presence will be missed by many.  God Rest!

Larry was preceded in death by his parents & sisters: Beverly, Arlene & Carol Jean.  He is survived by many nieces & nephews, their families & other relatives & friends.

In accordance with Larry’s wishes, no services will be held.  He was laid to rest at Pine Grove Cemetery in Cameron next to his parents.  Arrangements are with Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Homes, Cameron & Dallas.
