Linda J. Erickson

Linda J. Erickson, age 67, of Dallas, WI died Monday, February 19th, 2018 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Barron. She was born August 23rd, 1950 to Wallace & Rachel (Kolb) Candler at Rice Lake. Through her life, Linda always wanted these things: to love her family, laugh, feed people & to watch the moon from wherever she was at. She loved to plant flowers and nurture them until the freeze of winter took them from her until the robins came in the spring. She was famous for her cooking and beloved for her humor and feisty nature. She was the best grandma in the world; bragging about her boys every breath she took. All who loved her know: no one could take the place of her "Dipstick" (Dennis).

Linda is survived by her family: Life Partner of 32 years, Dennis Knutson of Dallas; son Brent (Amy) Erickson & grandson Chandler of Dallas; daughter Raschell (Dirk) Lyons of Eau Claire; daughter Misty Erickson & grandson Di’Andre of Minneapolis; sisters Beverly Candler (Stefan Voelkel) of Barron & Mary (Steve) Hellendrung of Rice Lake; brother Tom Candler of Cameron as well as many nieces & nephews. She is also survived by: Joyce Frisle, Lynda & John Stoeberl, Mary & Randy Minor, Gordy & Vicki Knutson & Jim Ince. She was preceded in death by her parents Ole & Rachel Candler, brother James & nephew Jon.

Funeral Service

Funeral Services will be (were) held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 24th at the Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Home in Cameron with Pastor Byron Alexander officiating. Visitation will be (was) held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the spring in the Dallas Cemetery. Arrangements are with Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Homes, Dallas & Cameron.
