Mae Jane Wickerham, age 87, of Cameron, WI passed away Saturday, February 12th, 2022 at Marshfield Medical Center in Weston, WI. She was born March 8th, 1934 to Marvin & Edith (Stafford) Churkey. She graduated from Owen High School in 1952 & on August 8th, 1953, she was married to Gilbert A. Wickerham at Greenwood, WI. Mae had a life full of things she enjoyed; family friends & faith. She was always reading a good book or eager to play a game of cards or a board game. She enjoyed bowling & played in leagues throughout the years. She also enjoyed gardening in which raising Christmas cactus was her specialty. She was also an active member of the VFW Auxiliary in Marshfield where she held the office of President at one time.
Mae was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Gilbert on June 19th, 2013, son: Gilbert L. Wickerham, granddaughter: Heather Nadolski, sister: Fern Wirth & son-in-law: Timothy McMaster. She is survived by her daughters: Sue (Donald) Ronkainen, Catherine McMaster & Tamatha Rossing (Alan Ziomek), 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 1 brother-in-law, 3 nephews, as well as many other relatives & friends.
A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 1st at Northern Wisconsin Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery at Spooner with Pastor Tammy Clausen officiating. Arrangements are with Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Homes, Cameron & Dallas.
