Marjorie Wiesner Obituary

Marjorie “Marge” Alice Wiesner, age 84, of Prairie Farm, WI passed away on Friday, April 12, 2019 at Pioneer Health and Rehabilitation in Prairie Farm after a brief battle with cancer. She was born in Spooner, WI to Anthony & Alice (Pfundheller) Rich on November 12, 1934. She attended and graduated from Spooner High School in 1952. She was married to John “Mike” Wiesner on June 21, 1952 in Sarona & the couple moved to Prairie Farm in 1953, where they farmed for over 40 years & raised their family. She was a member of the United Lutheran Church in Prairie Farm and a member of the Hope Circle. Marge loved to garden & tend to her flowers. She will be lovingly remembered as a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, & friend.

Marge is survived by her sons: Michael (Maureen) Wiesner of Prairie Farm & Marc (Diana) Wiesner of New Auburn, daughters: Vicki (Bud) Lindemer, Brenda Wiesner (Tom Mork) & Linda (Tim) Ambrose, all of Prairie Farm, 14 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, brother: Arnie Rich, sisters: Beverly Cristler & Carole Phelps, all of California, half-brothers: Anthony (Grace) Rich III of Eau Claire & Albert (Wendy) Rich of Rice Lake, as well as many nieces, nephews, other extended family & friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Mike Wiesner on August 24, 2009 & sister: Mary.

Funeral Services

Funeral Services will be (were) held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 16 at United Lutheran Church in Prairie Farm with Rev. Erin Koster officiating & interment following in the Evergreen Cemetery in Prairie Farm. Visitation will be (was) held from 4-7 p.m. Monday & 10-11 a.m. Tuesday, both at the church. Arrangements are with Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Homes, Dallas & Cameron.
