Maxine Mae (Koch) Meyer

Maxine M. Meyer, age 98, of Chetek, WI died Tuesday, September 19th, 2023 at her home.  She was born May 22nd, 1925 to Levi & Mildred (Foss) Koch in the Town of Sylvan, Richland County, WI.  She was raised and attended school at Soldiers Grove, WI where she graduated high school.  On September 18th, 1945, she was married to Robert Walsh and they later divorced.  On April 6th, 1974, she was married to Dale Meyer & they farmed in Garden Prairie, IL for several years.  In 2003, the couple moved to Chetek.  Maxine was an avid Packer & Cubs fan.  She also enjoyed indulging in a good Old Fashioned.

Maxine was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Dale on July 29th, 2006 & 5 siblings.  She is survived by her sons: James (Barb) Walsh of Pana, IL & Robert (Karen) Walsh of Missouri, daughter: Judy (Sever) Rundhaug of Chetek, many grandchildren, great grandchildren & great great grandchildren, sister: Florence Campbell of Viroqua, WI, as well as many other relatives & friends.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 29th at the Pine Grove Cemetery in Cameron with Hospice Chaplain Dennis Fowler officiating.  A Celebration of Life will take place later next spring.  Arrangements are with Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Homes, Cameron & Dallas.
