Meaghan Marie Hunziker

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Meaghan Marie Hunziker, age 34, of Cameron, WI, on Monday, July 29th, 2024 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire.  She was born on January 20th, 1990 in St. Paul, MN, the beloved daughter of Michael T. Hunziker & Lisa M. (Faas) Rosenthal.  Meaghan was a beautiful soul who loved the Green Bay Packers & the Cardinals.  Her favorite companion was her stuffed frog named “Froggy”, who she affectionately called “her son”.  Froggy went everywhere with her.  She enjoyed word find books, making bead bracelets & being read to before bed followed by The Lord’s Prayer, making sure all of her family, friends & pets were included before saying “AMEN”!  Meaghan was a kind individual with a warm heart & a personality to match.  Her infectious smile & laughter along with her stubborn ways, will always be remembered & cherished.  Her love & personality will always be etched in all of those who came to know her.  She will be deeply missed by everyone who had the pleasure & opportunity of knowing her.

Meaghan was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather: Michael L. Hunziker, paternal grandmother: Arlee Dorothy (Emmrich) Hunziker & her aunt: Arla, maternal great grandfathers: Ervin Faas & Cortland Johnson, maternal great grandmothers: Mabel Faas & Charlotte (Gronli) Johnson & her uncle: Michael Scott Faas.  She is survived by her parents: Michael Thomas Hunziker (Gina) & Lisa (Faas) Rosenthal (Marvin), grandparents: Gerald Faas (Janice), brothers: Kyle Faas, Kohlten Blanch & Christopher Rosenthal (Chandra), her sister: Emily Young (Michael), uncles: Robert Hunziker (Kerry) & David W. Faas, her aunt: Abigail Faas, paternal aunts: Stephanie & Jessie, honorary uncle: Eward “Eddie” P. Solum IV, as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews & friends. 

A Celebration of Life for Meaghan will held on Saturday, August 31st at the Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Home in Cameron.  Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. with a service to follow at 4:00, officiated by Rev. Ralph Marquardt.  Arrangements are with Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Homes, Cameron & Dallas.  Meaghan Marie Hunzikers memory will forever remain in our hearts.
