Minnie Allen Obituary

Minnie S. Allen, age 65, of Barron, WI died Thursday, March 3rd, 2022 at her home. She was born July 15th, 1956 to Ben & Hazel (Sandlin) Poirier at Milwaukee. She was raised and attended school in the Barron County area. On June 14th, 1976, she was married to James Allen at Barron. She was employed with the St. Croix Casino Hotel for about 20 years & enjoyed spending her free time with family, especially her grandchildren.

Minnie was preceded in death by her parents, husband: James on July 15th, 1999 & brother: Ben Poirier. She is survived by her sons: Mike (Dawn) Allen of Comstock, Eric (Amanda) Allen of Cumberland & Tommy (Angie) Allen of Barron, daughter: Jenny Allen of Barron, grandchildren: Tommy Jr., Shannon, James, Marissa, Justin & Jonathan Allen, sisters: Dawn Shrum of Cumberland & Lou Stauner of Turtle Lake, as well as many other relatives & friends.

Funeral Services

A private interment will take place at a later date at the Hay River Cemetery in the Town of Hay River, rural Wheeler, WI. Arrangements are with Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Home, Dallas & Cameron.
