Myrle A. Turner, age 91, of Hillsdale, WI passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at his home. He was born in Rugby, ND on July 29, 1930 to Alvin & Wilma (Gilmore) Turner. He was raised and attended school in Aitken, MN. On November 30, 1957 he married Lynn Enney at St. Paul, MN. After moving to Hillsdale, WI, Myrle owned and operated his business: Hillsdale Welding & General Repairing for 60 years. Myrle enjoyed fishing & camping in his younger years, he was very knowledgeable regarding antiques, and enjoyed building and creating things and tinkering in his shop.
Myrle was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter: Diann Longhenry, sisters: Myrtle, Millie & Dorothy, and a brother: Dick. He is survived by his wife: Lynn of Hillsdale, sons: Perry (Nancy) Turner of Ashland, WI, and Paul Turner of Hillsdale, grandchildren: Matthew Longhenry, Ashley Burger (Jean), Jessi Buckmaster, Misty Miller (Brandon), & Paul Turner, Jr., great-grandchildren: Jordan Pagac, Aubrey York, Shelby Plum, Elias & Dylan Turner, Jaden & Abigail Burger, siblings: Marlyn, Larry & Glenna, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.
A private family service was held to celebrate Myrle’s life. Arrangements are with Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Homes, Cameron & Dallas.
