Olga S. Orchard, age 68, of Barron, WI died Monday, April 17th, 2017 at her home. She was born November 19th, 1948 to Peter & Anna (Rutko) Sokolich in Brooklyn, NY. The family moved out to Riverhead, Long Island when Olga was a middle school student & she graduated from Riverhead High School in 1966. She went on to receive a Diploma in Sacred Music from Zion Bible College of Barrington, RI in 1969, a Bachelor of Music Education from Evangel University of Springfield, MO in 1972 & a Master of Music Education from Texas Christian University in 1977. On July 25th, 1980 she was married to Lauren Orchard in Minneapolis, MN. Olga has taught music at North Central University of Minneapolis, Evangel College & has been a Public School Music Teacher in New Jersey, Wyoming & Indiana. She has also been a published author & editor for Radiant Life Curriculum & a radio & TV editor for Revival Time, an international syndicated broadcast from the General Council of the Assemblies of God. She has been married to Rev. Dr. Lauren Orchard for 37 years & during that time they have pastored in St. Clair Shores, MI, Sundance, WY, Pleasant Hope, MI, Rensselaer, IN & since 2013 at Towering Pines Community Church here in Cameron, WI.

Olga was preceded in death by her parents & 2 brothers: John & Pete Sokolich. In addition to her husband Lauren, she is survived by her son: William Orchard of Rensselaer, IN, brother: Bill Sokolich & sister: Lillian Sokolich, both of Riverhead, NY.
Funeral Service
Funeral Services will be (were) held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 29th at Towering Pines Community Church in Cameron with Rev. Larry Liebe officiating. Arrangements are with Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Homes, Cameron & Dallas.
