Patricia L. Olson

Patricia L. “Pat” Olson, age 84, of Barron & formerly of Prairie Farm, WI died Tuesday, July 4th, 2023 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Barron. She was born January 29th, 1939 to Theodore & Betty (Vaughn) Teigen at Chicago, IL. On December 24th, 1939 she was baptized at Prospect Park Methodist Church in Minneapolis. She was Confirmed at Emmanuel Evangelical Brethren Church at Prairie Farm & graduated from Prairie Farm High School in 1956. On November 1st, 1958, she was married to Eugene Herbert Olson at Emmanuel Evangelical Brethren Church, Prairie Farm, WI.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter: Amy Lynn Olson, sister: Rita (Gerald) Warling, brother-in-law: August “Sonny” (Katie) Olson & sisters-in-law: Muriel (Norman) Tennermann & Eunice (Herb) Beiswanger. She is survived by her husband: Eugene “Buzz” Olson, daughters: Lynnea (Dale) Soderberg of Prairie Farm & Tracey Olson (Kevin Schoonover) of Cottage Grove, MN, son: Eugene Herbert Olson, Jr. of Nokesville, VA, grandchildren: Abby Soderberg (Ben Freund) of Coon Rapids, MN & Kirby Schoonover of Cottage Grove, brother: Ted (Carol) Teigen of Prairie Farm, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends.

Funeral Service

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 15th at First Lutheran Church in Barron with Rev. Ron Mathews officiating & interment following at Zion-Sheridan Cemetery in the Town of Sheridan, Dunn County. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at the church on Saturday. Arrangements are with Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Homes, Dallas & Cameron.
