Rory J. Arcand

Rory Joseph Arcand, age 63, of Prairie Farm, WI passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Marshfield Medical Center in Marshfield, WI. He was born on March 2, 1959, in St. Paul, MN to Clement Joseph and Doris Mae (Einum) Arcand. In 1962, his family moved to a farm in the Bloomer area, where Rory was raised and attended school. On September 13, 1991, Rory married Dorothy Bever in Barron, WI. Rory truly enjoyed life and spending time with family and many friends. He was a true outdoorsman, spending time hunting and fishing. Taking his grandson fishing was a highlight in his life. Rory also loved farming, his tractors, smoking meat and sharing his delicious products with friends and family. Time spent with others brought joy to his life.

Rory was preceded in death by his parents, his son: Carl Aspseter & father & mother-in-law: Clarence & Velma Bever. He is survived by his wife: Dorothy, son: Adam Arcand (Andrea Keeney) of Prairie Farm, brother: John Arcand of Dallas, sisters: Kathy (Tim) Jacobson of New Auburn, Karen (Dave) Johnson of Maplewood, MN, Sharon (Larry) Bartz of Montrose, CO, Kym Arcand of Bloomer & Laurie (Bob) Seidling of Chetek, a grandson: Diesel Arcand, brothers-in-law: James Bever of Menomonie, Clarence (Kathy) Bever of Ridgeland & Jack (Trish) Bever of Ridgeland, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Rory’s Life will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2023 from 2-5 p.m. at the Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Home in Dallas. Arrangements are with Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Homes, Dallas & Cameron.
