Shari Scribner Obituary

Shari L. Scribner, age 47, of Cumberland, WI died Thursday, November 2nd, 2017 in the Town of Johnstown, rural Cumberland. She was born February 10th, 1970 to Eugene & Janice (Holmstrom) Thompson at Rice Lake. She was raised and attended school at Barron where she graduated in 1989. On November 2nd, 1991, she was married to Scott Scribner at Turtle Lake. Shari was an avid outdoors lover and enjoyed many trips out west sightseeing in the mountains. She was an amazing wife, daughter & sister.

Shari was preceded in death by her grandparents: Marvin & Florence Thompson & Walter & Bevelyn Holmstrom, aunt: Judy Witkowski & her husband’s grandparents: Dudley & Thelma Williamson & Alice Scribner. She is survived by her husband: Scott of Cumberland, parents: Eugene & Janice of Cameron, brother: Daniel (Jane) Thompson of Sarona, sister: Sheila (Craig) Hunt of Barron, father-in-law: Bill Scribner of Turtle Lake, mother-in-law: Gloria Scribner (Dave Taulstrud) of Vadnais Heights, MN, brother-in-law: Dan Scribner of Spooner, sister-in-law: Heidi (Ken) Reinits of Bath, PA, as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives & friends.

Funeral Service

Funeral services will be (were) held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 8th at the Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Home in Cameron with Pastor Timothy Jerry officiating. Visitation will be (was) held from 4 until the time of the service at the funeral home. Arrangements are with Rausch-Lundeen Funeral Homes, Cameron & Dallas.
