Sheila Jean Knipfer (Oldenberg) passed away at home unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 24th, 2022. Sheila was born April 17, 1961 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to Wilmer and Rochelle (Johnson) Oldenberg. She grew up in Chetek, and graduated from Chetek High School in 1979. She later married Jerry Knipfer, and moved to New Auburn where they raised their boys together. Sheila enjoyed fishing, camping, bingo and her grandkids
Sheila and FamilySheila was preceded in death by her parents: Wilmer and Rochelle Oldenberg.
Sheila is survived by her children: Troy (Vanessa) Dehnel of Wausau, Tim (Jessica) Oldenberg of Chetek, Matthew Knipfer of Ladysmith, Andrew Knipfer (Christy) of Turtle Lake, brother: Michael Oldenberg of Chetek, 9 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, an aunt, cousins and many other close friends.
There will be a Celebration of Life at Phillips Park (Beach) Pavilion in Chetek on June 18, 2022 from 12-5 p.m.
